Hi there! Thanks for offering to write me a story about a character or group of characters very dear to my heart!

I like all kinds of fic, from gen to shippy (I am a dedicated multishipper and will happily read any rating, any number/gender of participants), from warm-and-fluffy to dark (kill my favorite characters, please!), from plotty and action-packed to intense conversations on the Formless Plane of Dialogue (I don't tend to like extremely introspective stories where there's no interaction, however). I'm not terribly fond of AUs of the coffee-shop/university/whatever variety, but I like canon-divergence AUs as well as fusions and crossovers.

Here, have some specific prompts:

Fandom: Alliance-Union - C. J. Cherryh
Character: Elene Quen

Optional details: Elene Quen isn’t the typical hypercompetent, emotionally guarded, sexually predatory C.J. Cherryh heroine--but she is the woman who single-handedly created the Merchanter’s Alliance while waddling around pregnant. I’d love to see more details of how she did it than we get in the book. I’d also like to read about her working with Signy Mallory, or against her, if and when their purposes don’t coincide. Post-canon, do her loyalties and duties to Pell and the Merchanters ever come into conflict, and how does she deal with it when they do? How does she raise her child or children with the legacy of the Estelle as well as Pell? Pre-canon, I’d like to see her youth and early adulthood on the Estelle, her courtship with Damon, her decision to stay on Pell.

I ship Elene with Damon, obviously, and I ship both of them with Josh Talley. I would be delighted to get an OT3 fic. Or else, something with Elene and Josh, either shippy or gen as you prefer; that’s the least developed side of the relationship in canon, so I’d be happy to see it more fleshed out.

Fandom: Chronicles of Chrestomanci - Diana Wynne Jones
Characters: Rosa Montana, Corinna Montana, Lucia Montana

Optional details: If you’re the eldest of three, everyone knows that you will fail first, and worst, when the three of you go out to seek your fortunes, right? There are three Montana girls—did they ever go out to seek their fortunes? Maybe they did it before Paolo was born, and they were the only three Montana children; maybe they did it after Rosa was married, because who says being married should stop you from seeking your fortune. Maybe each of them did on a different occasion. In any case, I'd like to read about what happened when they did. Or anything else with the Montana sisters and their sister feelings would make me very happy.

Fandom: Darkangel Trilogy - Meredith Ann Pierce
Characters: Aeriel, Erin, Sabr

Optional details: There are so many questions about these characters I’d love to see answered! How did Sabr become the bandit queen of Bern? What adventures did Sabr and Irrylath have during A Gathering of Gargoyles? What happened to Roshka and Erin after Aeriel left them? How did Erin’s first encounter with the people she was born to go?

Alternatively, if you’d like to write future fic, I’d love to see how an OT4 with Aeriel, Erin, Roshka and Irrylath would work. I also ship just plain Aeriel/Erin and Aeriel/Sabr. I’d be interested in reading about Aeriel and Erin’s work rebuilding the world, and/or Irrylath and Sabr (and possibly the Avarclon and Talb?) rebuilding Avaric--although I’d prefer gen there, since I’m not completely sold on Irrylath/Sabr.

Fandom: Discworld - Terry Pratchett
Characters: Tiffany Aching, Letitia Keepsake, Amber Petty

Optional details: One of the things I love about the Tiffany Aching books is how they show Tiffany not just maturing as an individual and coming into her own powers, but growing into her place as a member of a community of witches. And it would have been very easy to write Letitia as just a rival for Tiffany, and Amber as just a powerless victim that Tiffany needs to help, but instead they both have their own stories and their own strengths and heroisms and it’s great and I need coven fic about these three. Anything from epic adventures to bickering about whose turn it is to pour the tea and serve the biscuits would be awesome.

If you’re wondering what sort of thing I’m talking about, All Strange Wonders by deskclutter is the fic that made me need more like it. I came for the Howl’s Moving Castle crossover; I stayed for the coven feelings.

Fandom: The Heroes of Olympus - Rick Riordan
Character: Lou Ellen

Optional details: I was charmed by Lou Ellen’s brief appearance in The Lost Hero, so I was really glad we got to see more of her in Blood of Olympus. Unfortunately, since one of the things we learned about her was that she’s a friend of Will Solace, nowadays when she appears in fanfic she’s usually just an accessory to Will’s romance with Nico. Fortunately, this is exactly the sort of problem this fic exchange was created to solve!

I love Lou Ellen’s cheerful, twisted sense of humor, and I really want to know more about her background. What was she doing during the Titan war? If she fought with the Hermes cabin and the rest of Camp Half-Blood, how does that affect her relationship with her siblings, most of whom fought for the Titans, and were only granted amnesty after the war? Or alternatively, if she fought for the Titans, how does that affect how she gets along with the rest of the camp, especially her fellow head counselors? Or was she a lone half-blood surviving with her wits and magic who took no part in the war and was thus an acceptable compromise to both sides? What relationship does she have with Alabaster, if any, and is she still in touch with him?

I ship Lou Ellen with Miranda Gardiner based on their like two lines of interaction in The Lost Hero, and despite the fact that we know basically nothing about Miranda. So if you want to write me anything with them I’d be thrilled. I’d also love to read more about her friendship with Will and Cecil and how it developed. The only thing I would ask is please no Will/Nico? I actually like Will/Nico fine as a ship, it would just be so so nice to read a Lou Ellen fic without any of it for once.
